Calcium is absorbed by chickens to build strong egg shells, while grit stays in the gizzard to further aid in digestion. Feeding Directions: Offer oyster shell at approximately 16-18 weeks. Oyster Shell provides supplemental calcium for optimum egg shell and bone strength. Feed free choice in a dish, or on the ground in their feeding area.
